This work focuses on the aspects of prohibitions, commands, and barriers that we essentially create ourselves in the care of our own sense of security. We want to separate ourselves from what we perceive as a threat, something foreign and unknown, while simultaneously expressing ownership.



The human need to mark territory is visible everywhere, where an individual desires to define their boundaries – whether in the city center, in gated communities, in villages, on vast fields, or even deep within the forest on the border between Poland and Belarus. By building a wall, we set a certain limit; may it not be a limit to our humanity...
